Jane Brownie our International Director show cases Westland in Europe.

Recently Westland High School was invited to be part of the Insider Fairs in Germany and Austria. These fairs are run by our agent Southern Cross and are used to market our school to students in Germany and Austria and their families. 

I attended four fairs along with many other schools from New Zealand and representatives from the UK, Canada, USA and Australia. A bonus for me was catching up with Selina Pohl who attended WHS in 2015 (Picture). Selina attended the fair in Hanover with me and could give prospective students a first hand account of her experience at Westland High School. 

During the week I made contact with our other agents in Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Many people have now been reminded or introduced to what we have to offer here at Westland High School and Hokitika. We are looking forward to our new students attending next year and hope we have inspired some more to attend.
