Harold the Giraffe visits the Junior classes.

In junior health this term, we were lucky enough to host Harold from the Life Education Trust. The Life Education programme finishes at Year 8 with Harold so it was a sad event for many as they said goodbye. With a focus on brain development and encouragement of good choices, the students were able to understand varying perspectives of situations. The students were given strategies to deal with peer pressure. We are continuing this term with Lisa from St John’s who is teaching and supporting the students about hauora.
