What an exciting day for everyone involved

On Tuesday 25th of May, Westland High School took part in the Football Festival organized by Mainland football and Canterbury sports at Cass Square, Hokitika.

There were three teams, two boys and one girl team, from our school that participated. Each team played 6 games. The aim of the tournament was to participate and have fun experiencing football. All team were played very well and enjoyed themselves, winning each game.

It was great exposure to football players where they learn many skills like teamwork, sportsmanship and discipline.

Well done team!

A special thanks goes to Alex Morris who helped us by referring.
