The Year 7 and 8's competed in the Trevor Kilkelly Memorial Tournament and played 5 games in one day. Big effort team well done.

On Wednesday the 18th of May we sent a year 7/8 Rugby League team to the Trevor Kilkelly Memorial Tournament at Wingham Park in Greymouth. 

Our team started with two convincing wins before being beaten by Grey Main. We learned from the loss and pushed Paroa to extra time in the semi final. Unfortunately, we couldn't seal the win after some pressure on their line and we lost in golden point. 

Our final game was the play off for 3rd and 4th which ended in a draw and was a very competitive game. 

A big shout out to our team who all put in a huge effort to compete in 5 games throughout the day. 

A special mention to our captain and MVP Jaylem Aitken who led by example with some phenomenal ball carries, stiff defensive and general all round effort. Shot team, big ups.
