School trustee elections are happening this year. Boards of trustees play an important role in our school communities creating a better future for our children.

Nomination forms have been posted and so parents/caregivers of students on the school roll will start to receive these. Please make use of the portal (instructions are with the nomination forms) to nominate, this will ensure your nomination and profile is received in time. Nominations must be received by 12 noon 24th May. If you are unable to use the portal then send nominations and profiles to returningofficer@cessl.org.nz or post to P O Box 414 Christchurch . They will upload this information to the portal.

Important Dates:

• By Friday 10th May, Nomination forms will be posted to all persons on the school’s parent/caregiver roll.
• Friday 24th May, NOMINATIONS CLOSE – 24th May at noon. An election will then be held if the number of nominations exceed vacancies. For our school the number of parent vacancies is 5.
• Wednesday 29th May, Voting papers will be sent by post to all on the school parent/caregiver roll.
• Friday 7th June, Voting closes at 12 noon.
• Thursday 13th June, Votes are counted, and your School advised of the results.
• Friday 14th June, New Board takes office
