ANZAC commemorations

Westland High School —

The school remembers those who fought for our freedoms.

Some of the students made poppies out of old records to commemorate ANZAC day recently. Students, and staff hung them on the fence representing their whanau and remembering those who have fought for our freedoms. Thank you to those who donated records to make the Poppies.

We also thank the head students who represented our school at the ANZAC ceremonies in town. ANZAC day is an important opportunity to remember our history.
