Monday 15th may we held the annual school cross country. This year it was a whole school cross country.

It was a fantastic day on Monday the weather turned it on for the event and students came well dressed for their run/walk.

This year we decided to make it a whole school event with all year groups expected to participate in some way. Weather it was running or walking. Physical activity is a really important way to take care of our mental health and this is especially important for our youth. Even just a light walk for 15 mins each day has been shown to improve health and well-being. 

Planning is already underway for next years event, to make it bigger and better. One of the ideas that has been suggested is a 'Colour run'. Students get your thinking caps on and give your teachers your ideas.
