I have arrived at Westland High School from Avonside Girls' High School where I was the Assistant Head of Science with responsibility for Chemistry. In my career, I have also been part of the establishment staff at Rolleston College, a Dean at St Andrew's College and Head of Chemistry at Napier Boys' High School. I have a strong passion for curriculum design that is engaging and relevant to our ākonga and meets the needs of our community.

Outside the classroom, I have an interest in the outdoors and am an avid football fan. I have also enjoyed being involved in futsal in the past, having coached and refereed in national tournaments. Tania and I met through musical theatre and we continue to share a real love of the performing arts. Tania, River and I are excited to be joining the Hokitika community and the Westland High School whānau. We are really looking forward to getting involved with the local community and making the most of the opportunities this beautiful part of Aotearoa can offer.
