A sponsorship opportunity is available for a Senior student to attend the annual astronomy conference in Wellington.

Any senior student with a passion for astronomy is invited to apply for funding to attend the annual astronomy conference of RASNZ in Wellington on 23-25 October. Most costs are met by the sponsorship of up to 15 students. It's a great opportunity to travel independently and explore the universe. We had a successful applicant two years ago and that brought a few benefits to the school as a result too, with visiting lecturers. See Mr Manuel if interested. The application is a short, 300 word max, statement. Applications close early August.
