Westland High School is located in Hokitika, a town of 3000 people on the shores of the Tasman Sea.

Westland High School has 400 students from Year 7- 13 and so there is real opportunity to make real Kiwi friends. We have the core subjects you would expect but also an amazing outdoor education programme.

Hokitika is surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Southern Alps, lush rainforests, untamed rivers and a wild unspoilt coastline. Our town has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with many cafes, galleries and a new multipurpose sports facility, DWC Westland Sportshub.
