We're a few weeks into the year now, and we're still having lots of students forgetting their device altogether, or forgetting to charge it. We do have loan devices, but these are earmarked for students whose device is away being fixed, or who are waiting on a new device. It is not fair on these students if there are no loan devices left because someone has just forgotten theirs.

Please remind your young people that their device is their responsibility, and that they need to come prepared for class.

They also need to let the office know as soon as possible if their device stops working or gets damaged. The longer issues like this are left, the more complicated the repair process becomes, especially if the chromebook ages out of its warranty and insurance period.
