The WHS Outdoor Education programme is delivered by our very experienced Outdoor Education teacher Mr Mike Talbot (Bachelor of Outdoor Education and Adventure Recreation, Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning, NZOIA Kayak 1).

We have many host families ready to welcome international students to Hokitika and several who are very experienced hosts. We take great care when selecting these wonderful people who take students into their homes.
