The sea, lakes, and rivers are a big part of life here on the West Coast. Hokitika is a coastal town (the beach is 1km from our school) and the nearest lake is only 10km away. The Hokitika River flows alongside the town and the Hokitika Gorge is a favourite destination for visitors.
Whether you enjoy, walking, kayaking, swimming, cycling or just being in the outdoors, the Hokitika area and the wider West Coast have something to offer everyone. Come and enjoy the magic!
