Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Term 3 has been a great opportunity for creativity and collaboration through dance, drama, music, literature, and technology. We look forward to showcasing our learning this term at our Celebration of Learning evening coming up next week.

Celebration of Learning Evening

The Celebration of Learning evening runs from 6pm to 7:30pm on Tuesday 26th September.  We will be showcasing our Performing Arts learning in a slideshow which will be screening at 6pm and again at 6:45pm in our studio.  Throughout the evening there will be interactive stations for your child to share some of the activities they have been participating in this term.

Oral Language Programme

We are really enjoying listening to the interesting talks the children have been giving this term.   A big thank you to parents for supporting our programme.   It is great to see the kids becoming more confident with speaking, making eye contact and engaging their audience.

Dance

Studio 2 has been lucky to participate in 5 dance lessons this term. Millie did a great job of encouraging creativity in dance and helping the kids learn some dance techniques.  A highlight for everyone was the freestyle time to show their moves at the end of each lesson.

Stepping Out Programme

Last week Constable Taina worked with our studio over 3 sessions teaching the children about road safety, including crossing the road safely, walking past sneaky driveways, and putting on seatbelts correctly.

Reports

Some children will be bringing home a report next week so keep an eye out for that. Any child that doesn’t receive a report this term will bring one home next term.
