Ngā Uri O Ngā Iwi wish to thank Tegel Chicken, Westmere Butcher and Bidvest for their generous support of our recent stay at Waitetoko Marae in Taupō. 

Children and their whānau enjoyed superb, nutritious meals thanks to the sponsorship of meat, fruit and vegetables and the talents of our ringawera. 

A large group of 74 tamariki and 60 parents attended this year, so our parents preparing meals ran a tight operation over the five days. This annual event allows students and parents alike to experience the natural landscapes, history and uniqueness of tribal areas around Aotearoa. 

We also wish to thank the Westmere school community who supported our fundraising efforts in 2016 to ensure students can participate in noho marae.
