Our new Westmere School bucket hats look fabulous and are playing a huge part in keeping our children Sun Safe.

Thank you to those of you who have purchased the new hats already.  The school hats will be compulsory in Term 1 2019 and are optional for the remainder of this year.  They can be purchased from the school office.

If you are waiting until next year a hat is still compulsory this term.  Please ensure that your child's hat is sun safe.  This means having a wide brim that protects th back of the neck and the face.  

If children forget their hat we ask that they play in the shade.  There are also times during the summer months when learning takes place outside.  Children will need a hat to fully take part in all activities.
