On Sunday 29th October a group of children from Westmere School joined hundreds of other children to run the Auckland Marathon.

Various distances were run from 2.5km to 12km. 

Well done to all the children for completing the race. Some ran over the Harbour Bridge, while others ran through town. Some were running for the first time, while others were back for another go. 

What a great achievement by all.
