Studio One Update
Lisa Cuttriss - September 20, 2017
Term Three continues to be filled with Dance, Drama and lots of creativity, supported by technology.
Tongan Language Week
We have been learning a lot during Tongan Language Week and thanks to Whaea Toru's expertise in this area we were able to lead a song during assembly. We also had several brave studio members, Orsa, Tully, Billy and Flo who introduced and spoke about Tongan Language Week.
Dance + Stepping Out
Our five sessions of Dance has come to an end. Our children loved exploring different movements with Milly from Sport Auckland. The good old Macarena has made a comeback within Studio One - perhaps you have noticed this at home?
Constable Taina has been back to Westmere and has been teaching the Junior School about traffic safety, seat belts and crossing the road safely, but only when you are eight!
Celebration of Learning - Tuesday 26 Sept, 6:00 - 7:30pm
We would love to see you and your child at school for our Celebration of Learning. This is a time where you can see what we have been learning, share in the learning and explore together.
We will be having an open studio with lots of interactive activities for you to explore. There will be short clips to watch and several movies of the children's learning as well. We look forward to seeing you all there!
Reports
Many of our children will be bringing home a report this term. If your child had a report last term (in Term 2), they will receive their end of year report in Term 4. If you have any questions about reports, please pop in to see Lisa or Robyn.
See you on Tuesday.
Lisa, Robyn and Whaea Toru
