Expo Days

At Pasadena Intermediate we place great importance on making students' transition to and from intermediate school as smooth as possible. As part of this programme we invite all Year 6 students from Westmere School to take part in our EXPO Day. 

Attending students will participate in an ‘Intermediate Experience’ lesson in one of the following - Visual Arts, Foods Technology, Design Technology, Music and Digital Technology - under the guidance of one of our teachers, assisted by Pasadena Intermediate School students. 

Goal

To introduce Year 6 Students to intermediate school and to some of the programmes available at Pasadena Intermediate School. 

Date and Time

Thursday 1 August 2019 - 9.15 am to 11.45 am

Transport/Supervision

Students will travel to and from Pasadena by bus provided by Pasadena Intermediate School. They will be collected from their school, approximately 20 minutes before and will be returned approximately 20 minutes after the EXPO experience. Their primary school teachers will accompany them, and while at Pasadena we will take full responsibility for their safety and welfare. 

There is no cost for your child or for your child's school for their involvement in this Programme. The activities are available to all Year 6 students, irrespective of which school they plan to attend in 2019. Parents/Caregivers of the participants are also welcome to visit and observe any or all of the activities. 

We ask that students bring morning tea with them.

On Wednesday 21 August at 7pm, parents/caregivers of prospective enrolments will be welcomed in the Pasadena Centre by the Principal, staff and students, for a Pasadena Intermediate Information Evening.
