You may have heard in the media that primary teachers rejected the latest offer from the government. I know that with different teachers in different sectors it can be confusing, so here is a summary of things as they stand;

Wear Something Pink Day
Don't forget that tomorrow is "Wear Something Pink Day" at Westmere.

Students are invited to wear something pink. At assembly, students will be presenting on the theme of being an upstander.

You may have seen some of our students at the gate with posters this week. If you would like to donate to the cause you can use the QR code below, on one of the posters at school or by bringing a gold coin donation on Friday.

Health Survey
The Westmere Board works on a review cycle and is currently seeking feedback on our health curriculum. This includes physical education, but also the wider mental health and well-being of students and ways to keep themselves safe. This health survey just takes a couple of minutes to complete. Thank you for your input.


Auckland Regional Dental Service -Dental Van Visiting from Monday

To enable the treatment of children in your area, we have scheduled a Dental Van visit to
your school from the 22nd of May-9th of June.
