Another week of creating great memories

The newsletter this week is a real celebration of book week. During the week we had visits from Anne Kayes , Tessa Duder, Erin Devlin, Lucy Elliott, Stacey Morrison, and Miriama Kamo.  Thanks to all of the authors for their enthusiasm and the connections that they made with the children. 

Teachers are taking the opportunity to capture the energy and passion for writing.  We have seen lots of students at the office this week with great examples of their writing.  

It was amazing to see so many grandparents at school on Friday and they were looked after so well by Sonya and her team of helpers at morning tea.

Jo, our wonderful librarian, is a fabulous advocate for the week.  We are really lucky to have her as part of the Westmere team.
