Ice Block Day
Ice block day last Friday brought so much fun to Westmere - the best day ever according to some children. You raised over $600 for the Red Cross appeal to support families after Cyclone Gabrielle. The last donations are still being counted.

Thank you so much to the Westmere School Supporters Team for making Westmere a great place for our children.

Easter Bake Sale

Calling all bakers and buyers!

The WSS will be holding an Easter Bake Sale Wednesday 5th April under the Supertop. Please send your child with gold coins for delicious treats.

If you can help with baking (or buying treats), it is greatly appreciated.

Add your items to this Google doc EASTER BAKE SALE. Please drop off your baking anytime before 3 pm on 5th April at the school office.

As this is the second-to-last day of term, please collect your container straight after the bake sale or put the baking in a container you don’t need back (such as an ice cream container).

 Thank you!

The Walking School Bus is Coming!
Thanks to everyone who filled in the survey indicating their interest in our Garnet Rd Waka Waewae.

A morning tea to discuss the route, safety guidelines, and volunteer rosters will be held this Monday, 20th March in the staffroom at 9 am. All are welcome to attend and find out more information.

With the response we’ve had, we think we can make a real impact on traffic congestion around the school gate and even make a difference to the environment!

The increased walking will also improve the health and road safety skills of the children involved.

If you would still like to complete the survey please click here or if you would like to get in touch please send an email to westmere.wsb@gmail.com
