Dear Parents,

Welcome to week 7 and Spring. The children are slowly calming down from the excitement of the art festival and the opportunity to stay up late and see the school at night! It was great seeing such a variety of creativity and colour across the whole school.

Friday is Bike or Scooter to School Day. There will be extra bike stands brought in and bikes will be kept safe on the top court for the day. Some classes are choosing to dress up for this day, this is optional for the year ones and twos.

There has been a case of nits in the studio so please take the time to check your child’s hair. 

Although the weather is cooler this week, lunch times can be sunny so it may be time to think about sunhats. They are mandatory in term 4 but we have children choosing to wear them now on sunny days.

The tamariki have worked hard on their calendar art. If you missed seeing it at the art show, you can look at it in a folder that is in each home group of LS2. Orders need to be put in the yellow box in the office by 15 September.
