Studio One —

Term Two begins with a pop!

We have another busy term ahead of us, this time with a Science focus.  Over the next 10 weeks, we will be investigating different materials and their properties.

On Wednesday the team from Science in a Van visited us for an education session.  We were shown many different types of bubbles - small bubbles, little bubbles inside larger bubbles, giant bubbles, cloud bubbles and even helium filled bubbles that floated up to the roof! Ask your child all about it!

Cross country training has started, you will have received a notice this week about the whole school event at Cox's Bay on Wednesday, Week 3.  If you are able to help with walking our studio to and from the park, please let your home group teacher know.

We will be training over the next two weeks, so your children will need appropriate shoes for running.

As the weather becomes cooler, sneezing and runny noses also become more prevalent, so any donations of tissues would be greatly appreciated.

If you would like to be a parent reader (or have done so last term and would like to continue to  support) please see Lisa or Robyn.  We have space for you!  If you would prefer to support within the Studio instead, also please see Lisa or Robyn.

Every Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 we run Discovery Learning.  If you have a special skill (sewing, finger knitting, weaving, photography, music) we would love you to join us.  Any extra hands to support during these sessions are also appreciated.
