We are now half way through the term and things are humming along nicely!

Concept

Excitement is building  as the students begin exploring their innovative ideas around how the world works. They have now chosen their area of interest based on water, land or air and will be applying their understanding of Newtons Laws to design a technological innovation.

Literacy

It is wonderful to see so many stories being written at home. Thank you for encouraging your children to complete this.  The writers of the week last week were Madi and Jackson. Their writing is displayed on the wall and you are welcome to come in and read it.

Whanau  Assembly

Thank you to everyone that supported our assembly on Friday last week. We were very proud of our ambassadors who organised and ran the whole event.

Sport

It is great that we finally managed to hold the cross country race last week. Many students from our studio are looking forward to racing at  the Interschool Championships on Thursday.

Our focus for PE over the next few weeks will be catching and passing skills through Touch Rugby.
