With the success of the school Rippa Rugby series, we have put together a club based series to give our girls more opportunity to play in a club setting.

 This is a pilot programme with intentions of creating a division within the current club structure.

The 2018 Rippa Rugby Girls Series has been brought to you through a partnership with Counties Manukau Rugby, New Zealand Rugby and Auckland Rugby Union.

NB: If a school wishes to enter this series they are more than welcome to do so under the umbrella of a local club. The school team can continue to train as a team whilst having support of the union and the club.

The details;

• Two grades on offer, under 9 years old and over 9 years old (target age is 7-11, however, we are open to older/younger with consideration)
• 6 weeks starting the weekend on the 28th July through to 1st September
• Various locations across Auckland (each club will take a turn hosting)
• Boots are to be worn, equipment/tags will be provided
• Games will run from 9am-12pm (several games are played on the one day)
• Rippa Rugby rules have been standardised
