BOOK REVIEW
Super Sleuth by David Walliams
Dilly loved a good murder mystery novel. Sherlock Holmes was her favourite detective, and she named her dog, Watson, after his faithful companion. She had trained her Watson to sniff out clues and follow scent trails. So far they hadn't had much luck cracking cases beyond lost cats or missing biscuits that turned out to have been eaten all along.
Now the amateur detective duo find themselves on a luxury transatlantic cruise liner bound for London. On board, the world's greatest detective is murdered. There is a thousand nautical miles of ocean around them and a thousand 'suspect' passengers. The perfect place for a murder. As Dilly attempts to unravel the mystery, she soon finds that her own life is in danger... Can she solve the crime?
This book is another great read from the very popular David Walliams. It is his first ever murder mystery - with thrills, spills and laughs galore! It is a hilarious read for our 8-12 year old students.
