The new tamariki to Westmere kura have had a positive and happy start. They are learning what our school Motto and Growth Mindset Toolbox are and how they look when learning and playing with their friends.

We are learning to name and describe 2D shapes and have completed activities to help us with this.

During Literacy time we are practicing letter names and sounds, concepts about print and what is a letter, word and picture.
