Room 7 enjoyed a visit from Vicki the Zero Waste Educator on Wednesday.

We were fascinated by worm facts such as them having tiny little rocks inside their gizzard to help break down the food they eat. 

Room 7 then went outside to construct their own mini worm farm using a container they had brought from home along with some compostable material (food scraps). Seeing the tiger worms up close and personal brought great excitement!
