Last Thursday Westmere School celebrated their first Puanga Breakfast.

Last Thursday Westmere School celebrated their first Puanga Breakfast.  It was a fabulous morning with approximately 200 from our community coming together to listen to stories, watch the Kapa Haka and be involved in activities that celebrate Puanga.  A huge thankyou to Laser Plumbing and Anzco Meats for your contribution to the food and to the whanau who arrived to cook the barbecue at 5:00am, buttered the bread, cut onions, and made hot chocolate made fried bread. Anna Laine, Channelle and Pete Rendell, Hannah Unsworth, Helena Allen, Holly and Shaun Laird, Jen Bagshaw, Moana Reid, Paddy Habib, and Leah Smith. Your enthusiasm and energy is much appreciated.
