So Much to Thank You All For!
A term ago, I was on sabbatical visiting other schools around the world. Ten weeks on, I feel so grateful to be in our Whangaparaoa community of teachers, children and families.
You just need to look at the last 4 weeks of opportunity - parent meetings, Matariki celebrations, Book Week festivities, Disco, X Country, “Give it a Go” activities afternoon, Rippa tournament, Swimarathon, Year 1 and 2 Performing Arts open day, Year 2 to 6 jump jam, PFA travel raffle, A Million Dreams experiences, Mathex, Chess Club, Animal club, Coding Club, gymnastics, hockey, running club, QUEST, robotics, gardening club, board games, Judith Douche dance, handwriting club, M and M Sustainable Shop, Beyblade club, Media group, Craft club, guitar and ukelele, Mindfulness, Kapahaka, Hibiscus Tuakana, swimming lessons, Scamp club and choir. We have so much to be proud of and so many people to be thankful for.
THANK YOU, EVERYONE!
Parents and students, we hope you enjoy the school break and have lots of fun family times over the next two weeks. Teachers, thanks for your continuous commitment to provide a fantastic learning environment for our children - rest up and enjoy your well-earned break.
