$400,000 Last weekend we welcomed a surprise injection of money from the Labour government to go towards property needs.

We were fortunate enough to receive the maximum $400,000. This is a lot of money and we are very grateful. We are yet to find out the conditions around spending this and await news from the ministry.

Staff change

Kim Adkin will be leaving us at the end of this term to take up a new position at Coatesville school. We thank Kim for her great contribution to teaching children at our school.

In year 2, we have appointed Moriah Ireland, who will be coming to us from Florida, America. Moriah has had four years teaching experience at the 5 and 6 year old level and loves the outdoors. She has had great professional learning opportunities and will be working closely with Jo Kember.
