A keen team of year 3-6 weedbusters are working with Julia from ‘Restore Hibiscus and Bays’ to remove pest plants from our native garden area.

Weed of the week - this week we tackled Tradescantia. This plant creeps and climbs and smothers other plants. Any small piece that is dropped re-grows, so it is difficult to get rid of. It’s easy to pull out, and we are leaving it to compost for a year in a big black compost bag in the sun.
