Each year Mrs Thompson takes a group of keen readers / writers to be inspired by authors speaking at the Auckland Writers Festival at Aotea Centre.

This is for year 5 and 6 students. There are a few tickets still available. Please contact dthompson@wgp.school.nz if you would like to sign your child up for this, or for more information. There is a cost as this is an optional extra opportunity.

There is also a FREE FAMILY DAY - Saturday 20th May, with several events suitable for children from 5 yrs old and up.
