Thanks Kevin - a message from the Board of Trustees

Board of Trustees —

At the end of last term it was Te Meke Tumuaki / Principals Appreciation Week.

We would like to take this time to appreciate how lucky we are to have our special principal Kevin, and what an amazing impact he has made on our school since he has arrived. Kevin has been instrumental in implementing the strong ORCA values we now live by, and these principles weave through the entire culture of our school environment.

Kevin can be found on Saturday mornings and after school sports supporting the children out of school time, he knows every students name, and is engrossed in the students wellbeing and achievement at school. He works tirelessly in support of our community and our children, and he instigated and leads an epic annual senior camp (this year catering for 3 groups over 3 weeks). He is an approachable and friendly principal, smiling and greeting us all at the gate.

Kevin and his team have guided our school smoothly through the pandemic and lockdowns taking on a huge amount of extra workload and stress all behind the scenes. He is constantly praising our children and his team, now it’s time for us to recognise his achievements. A huge well done Kevin for the last 6 years you have contributed to our school. Behind every successful school is a great principal, and Kevin has been a fundamental part of making our school the great one it is.
