What a Week

Last week our students and staff were involved in a host of fun and engaging Te Ao Maori experiences around our school. Some of us were also lucky enough to go and watch our kapahaka group perform at the Tu Maia festival. They were fantastic and performed with so much mana. Thanks to all our staff and students for making this such an exciting week !

  • Outdoor Education - It is wonderful to see our Year 3 and 4’s enjoying different activities in the outdoors this week. These experiences are ones you do remember. I would like to thank our staff who take the time to plan and be with the children at these experiences. We are lucky to have staff who place value on these experiences and make personal sacrifices to be there.
  • NZ NETBALL FERNS VISITING. In recognition of the fine sporting attitude shared by Stella Maris and our Pipers netball team, New Zealand netball are going to send a couple of players to our school on Monday, September 23rd to spend some time with our two teams. We will host Stella Maris and the Silver Ferns at our school.
  • Cafe Friday - Next Friday - 27th September @ 3pm more details next week.
