Wasn’t cross country FUN? There were so many people giving it a go in both the competitive and fun runs. Everyone who was supporting the runners would have known it was Whangaparaoa Primary because we saw all of our school showing our ORCA values.

Before the race even started kids were showing ownership by running around the bike track every morning getting ready for the big run. As well as demonstrating respect by clapping and cheering for all their classmates. I also saw kids collaborating with their friends by running together and encouraging each other to keep going. We all showed the last Orca value by achieving our goal of completing the Cross Country. In conclusion, well done to all our students who were “the best that they could be”
