Parents, we sincerely apologise for springing the lockdown on the children on Tuesday.

It is necessary to carry out these drills in school time, and in a break time when a normal drill routine can not be followed.  We do acknowledge and will follow up on the suggestion to give our families a heads up that this drill will be happening, so this can also be talked through at home and lessen anxieties children may experience.
