FIAFIA EVENING Matagofie, Tumeke, Mitaki, Malie - What a fantastic evening we were treated to last Friday as the Hibiscus Tuakana groups from the college and our school entertained us.
Hibiscus Tuakana has now been in our school for one year, and over 150 students have turned up on Fridays to enjoy the weaving, dancing, drumming and singing. Thanks to Marina Vaha for starting this group and her leadership throughout to give the students an enjoyable, learning experience. Thanks also to our amazing supportive parents who gave up your Friday evening to join us - we hope you enjoyed the evening.
Just a reminder about our e-Learning Meeting 7th November @ 7pm in the school staffroom. We are inviting current Year 2 parents and other interested parents to an information evening around e-Learning and devices at our school.
SCHOOL BADMINTON AND TABLE TENNIS CHAMPS
This week and next, some of our students are contesting our school badminton and table tennis champs. We wish them well, and will have some results for you shortly.
WORRIES OR CONCERNS
Even though it is term 4, PLEASE come and see us at the first sign of any concern so we can work together to be informed and help stop niggles before they grow into problems.
Any concerns in the classroom, please involve your child’s teacher straight away. Further concerns would be directed to the team leader of your child’s learning community and then the deputy principals.
If it is a school policy or school decision you are unhappy about or disagree with, bring it straight to Kevin, Gordie, Jo or Warren.
