Cultural Celebration
On the last day of this term, Thursday, April 6, we are going to have a Cultural Celebration Day at school.
Children will be invited to wear clothes that are culturally significant to them or their family.
We invite parents to join us from 9am to 10am for a school assembly with our national anthem, school waiata, kapahaka performance, as well as a culture and flag parade. Alternatively, parents are welcome to join us at 2.30pm when we once again will meet as a school, enjoy some items and wish families well for their term 1 break.
Teachers will be celebrating culture in many different ways in the lead up to this day. Check the class newsletters weekly for opportunities.
