Tēnā koutou Whangaparāoa whānau for Term 1!

As your parent representatives on the school board we were right alongside you with the highs and lows of Term 1 and want to thank everyone for the role you played in all our school's successes.

Those early Alert Level changes were, challenging, and once again our entire school community stepped up and got on with it. 

Together We Inspire Learning (our school mission) is particularly apt when facing additional challenges as it's only when working together that we can truly succeed. Together we inspire...resilience, success, resourcefulness, community, and so much more.

Of course there were many school-wide highs from Term 1 too:

• Mihi Whakatau where the entire school welcomed new students, families, and staff; 
• the start of the House system; 
• the amazing community vibe at Gala; 
• Triathlon; 
• all the clubs and break time opportunities offered by staff;

 and of course all the many everyday highs in the classroom and on the playgrounds our children experience.

Board News: 

This term we held 2 Board of Trustees meetings and Rhys Finn was voted in as chairperson. Minutes can be accessed in the office or on the school website. 

Of particular note, new policy was adopted on security surveillance with the hope this minimises vandalism outside of school hours and helps keep our school safe. All school policies can be accessed through Schooldocs.
