Hall re-opening
On Monday morning we cut the ribbons and walked into our newly “made over” hall.
It was exciting after so long to finally have our school back together in a hall setting. We shared a karakia, sung a few waiata and shared our gratefulness to so many people who have helped us make our hall a better place for our community. We discussed that “even the toilets are nice now”.
We all now share the responsibility of looking after our hall. The 3 rules we have to help are
- children are only to be in the hall with a supervising adult,
- please wipe your feet before you enter
- and children are not to eat food in the hall.
