Thanks to the Environmental Leadership Fund, we ran our first rongoā workshop this week.

Six classes got to experience how to make Kawakawa, Kūmarahou, blackberry and honey cough syrup. This has tied in well with our Puanga unit students have been covering in class. Many students were able to bring their prior knowledge from home, and it was great hearing about what they had made at home with their whānau, even learning from them.
