Kia ora tātou, Last week we learned the karakia that the school uses. This week we are going to begin to look at simple sentences.

For the next few newsletters, we will be looking at the sentence starter “ I “ to denote past tense. I tūmahi/verb. 

Some examples are... 

I moe = Slept, I haere = went, I pēke = jumped, I waiata = sung, I hīkoi = walked.
