During our last lockdown, Epro8 sent out "Lockdown Challenge Edition" for students to build a structure at home.

The Dyer family bubble won an invitation to enter the grand final of the Epro8 Lockdown Challenge. There were just under 1000 entries.

The contestants could use an EPro8 School Equipment kit. This means the family had access to gears, axles, aluminum, nuts and bolts, pulleys, wheels, etc. The challenge was more technical than the paper-based challenges..." 

The Dyer family's theme for their competition project was a Praying Mantis. This is a functional product of original design.
