Students have been exploring aerodynamics and factors affecting the speed of a dragster. There have been some fantastic cross-curricular links with math and science.

Students have been using a locally gown wood called paulownia as an alternative to balsa wood.

Ultimately they are trying to make the fastest dragster, powered by C02.

The results have been phenomenal with the top speed being 82.4kmph.
