When students are absent due to illness or other reason, we ask that parents or caregivers contact the school before 8.50am. If phoning please do not call reception. We would prefer you left a clear message on 438-8659 extension 2 or complete an absence form via our website's "report an absence" button or send a notification through our school loop app. Please provide your child's name, room number and the reason for the absence.....

All unexplained absences are followed up by text and then a phone call from a Dean. If the school is not informed of the reason for absence students have to be marked as truant. The school is linked to the Attendance Service who follow up when on-going absences become a concern.
