I am currently acting Deputy Principal while Matua Paul Botica is away. I am thoroughly enjoying my time here at Whangarei Intermediate working alongside amazing hard working staff in Te whānau o Waiarohia and Te whānau o Tawatawhiti.

I am equally loving getting to know the fabulous ākonga and have been amazed at all of the opportunities available here for them to get involved in. Participation in extracurricular activities during their intermediate year is of paramount importance for their holistic development. These activities go beyond the traditional academic curriculum and offer them a wealth of benefits that shape them into amazing rangatahi.
