Kia ora my name is Mr. Heke. I've been teaching here at WIS for the last 7 years. I was an old boy here back in 2000-2001 so I'm proud to be giving back to the school where I was once a student. The school's art program is based on coverage of three major areas: - Sources of motivation (where to get ideas) - Making art (painting, drawing, printing, sculpture, etc.) - Knowing about art (discussion, comments) Students work with a variety of mediums such as clay, painting, and printing. Students learn about artists, their work, and a variety of artistic techniques over their two years at WIS.
