Nimen hao, this week Room’s 9 & 10 are celebrating Chinese Language Week, which is a great way for the students to celebrate and consolidate some of the learning.
We have been busy preparing for this week and are enjoying teaching other students around the school how to write Chinese characters (Calligraphy) and how to make Chinese friendship bracelets using traditional knotting techniques. Mrs Pevats and Matua Tavis have also set some challenges for students around the school to practise basic Mandarin greetings.
